Joining the Junior Section
Membership Information
The club welcomes new junior members, boys and girls, from the age of six upwards - regardless of ability. Practice sessions mix equal parts enjoyment and improvement, with particular emphasis in the younger age groups on having fun.
Junior membership costs £30 for 2009. There is no charge for attending practice sessions, but we expect anyone attending four or more sessions to register as a junior member and to pay an annual subscription. Bucks CC regulations state that a player is not eligible unless he or she is a registered and paid up member of the club.
Important
In 2009 we shall continue to make the quality of coaching that we offer a priority. Unfortunately, we cannot do this whilst allowing the junior section to expand at the rate at which it has grown over the past four years. This year we again have to limit the number of new junior members that we take on.
At under 12 and below new members will first have to join a waiting list. This may also apply to under 13s and above, depending on demand. 2008 junior members have until Thursday May 7 to return their membership forms and subs to guarantee their 2009 place. Where capacity exists, places will then be allocated to new members on the waiting list - first come first served.
2009 membership forms will be sent out to all existing members in March.
