All three Cherwell League fixtures were rained off on the last day of the season, Saturday September 6.This should have been enough to guarantee the 1st XI the Division 2 championship and promotion back to Division 1 at the first attempt, but Milton Keynes Park managed to complete the only result in the entire Cherwell League fixture list by defeating Abingdon Vale, and therefore beat Dinton to the title. In Division 3 the 2nd XI finished comfortably mid-table, but it was more anguish for the 3rd XI when the rain denied them the opportunity to continue their fight against relegation from Division 7.
