The Buckinghamshire Foundation   18/11/08
We're very grateful to The Buckinghamshire Foundation for giving the club a grant to help fund our ambitious coaching plan for 2008 & 2009. With the Foundation's help we should be able to add at least a further eight ECB-qualified coaches to our volunteer staff, which will continue to improve the quality of coaching that we can offer and will extend opportunities to even more juniors in the area. Thanks again.

The Name's Hatton... Leigh Hatton   16/11/08
Daniel Craig - or Leigh Hatton?... or is it?
Can James Bond really have infiltrated a village cricket club and been masquerading as one of its captains? How on earth did he get his CRB certificate?
Following this revelation, speculation was rife at the AGM as to who else at the club could make a decent lookalike. Rodney? PJ? Ted?

Season Ends With A Bang!   14/09/08
Dinton are Bucks Cup winners!Shrugging off the previous weekend's rain-induced disappointment, Dinton rounded off their season in style by thrashing Beaconsfield at Farnham Royal to win the Bucks Cup!
Mike Sutliff once again starred with the bat, scoring 105 in Dinton's 190 for 9 off their 45 overs. Richard Scott then helped himself to 4 for 23 as Beaconsfield were bowled out for just 83.
Congratulations to captain Ashley Smith and the whole team for a deserved trophy this season.

Dinton Can't Stand the Rain...   07/09/08
Don't rain on my paradeAll three Cherwell League fixtures were rained off on the last day of the season, Saturday September 6.
This should have been enough to guarantee the 1st XI the Division 2 championship and promotion back to Division 1 at the first attempt, but Milton Keynes Park managed to complete the only result in the entire Cherwell League fixture list by defeating Abingdon Vale, and therefore beat Dinton to the title.
In Division 3 the 2nd XI finished comfortably mid-table, but it was more anguish for the 3rd XI when the rain denied them the opportunity to continue their fight against relegation from Division 7.
