Reminder: NO Practice this Thursday   29/05/08
No practice this ThursdayIt's half term, we're all enjoying the excellent weather (insane laughter - Ed) and so here's yet another reminder that there will be no juniors practice this Thursday. If you do turn up at the ground this evening then it's highly likely that you will find the gate locked.
Please help our coaches and team managers by regularly checking the team lists published here and confirming your availability for upcoming fixtures.

Wednesday 11:30am: Both Matches OFF   28/05/08
It might as well rain until SeptemberBoth the under 11s at Wycombe and the under 14s home to Bledlow Village are OFF today because of the conditions.
While we have your attention, a reminder that there is NO PRACTICE this Thursday because of half term.

Sunday 8am: U15 Home to Little Marlow OFF   25/05/08
U15 Home to Little Marlow OFFAs we feared, the Bucks League under 15 game home to Little Marlow is OFF. With no opportunity to replay this fixture, each side take one point.
Please would all under 14s let Mick know their availability for the home match against Bledlow Village on Wednesday May 28.

U11B vs Bledlow Village POSTPONED   24/05/08
U11B vs Bledlow Village POSTPONEDHaving looked at the doom-laden weather forecast for Sunday morning, and discussed with the opposition, we have already decided to POSTPONE the under 11B away fixture at Bledlow Village. We will try to rearrange this fixture for later in the season.
Please see the news story below regards the under 10s friendly at the club on Sunday June 1.

Juniors Practice: Admin Notes   22/05/08
1) There will be no practice next week, Thursday May 29, because of half-term.
2) This evening we will be handing out notes to all under 8s, 9s and 10s asking whether they would like to play in friendly matches at Dinton on the afternoon of Sunday June 1st. These notes must be completed and handed back to the coaches this evening so that we can give you all adequate notice of whether these games are on or off.

Rainwatch: Thursday 5pm: Practice ON, but...   15/05/08
Purple RainThe outfield is usable with care, but the nets will be out of bounds this evening because the run-ups are unsafe. Practice is ON as long as there is no more rain this evening.
Please will everyone take extra care this evening because of the conditions.
Please also note that there will not be a barbecue this evening.

Junior Membership: Update as of May 9   11/05/08
No further membership applications will be taken this year for all age groups at under 11 and younger. The good news is that we can now confirm that all those on the 2008 waiting list who have completed and submitted their membership forms to us by May 8 are guaranteed a 2008 place. Unfortunately, this means that those in the under 11 age group and younger who had not notified us by May 7 will not qualify for junior membership this year. (This includes those who we saw for the first time on May 8.) There are still a few places left in the age groups under 12 and above.
We will email all new applicants to confirm their 2008 membership status in the next few days.

Sunwatch Update - Thursday May 8 9:30am   08/05/08
The sun has got his hat on...It's Thursday and, whisper it softly, it's a sunny day! This evening's junior practice is most definitely ON!
This evening is the cut-off day for junior membership forms - see the news item below. Get those forms in or risk costing you (i) £10, or (ii) your 2008 place.
There are a couple of junior away matches going on this evening, at under 12 and under 15, which are depriving us of some of our coaches and adult volunteers. The first hour is likely to be 'at least as chaotic as usual', so please bear with us.

Rainwatch: Thursday 4:55pm   01/05/08
Thursday practice and the U13 match away at Marlow are both ON. Keep everything crossed for a dry & sunny evening!

Rainwatch: 1:45pm Wednesday - U14s OFF   30/04/08
A hard rain's gonna fallThe under 14 home match this evening against Taplow has been RAINED OFF. If you are reading this and were due to play, then please spread the word to save Dean some phone calls.
Both Dinton and Taplow are keen to reschedule, so we shall see what we can arrange.
