Rainwatch: 1:45pm Wednesday - U14s OFF

The under 14 home match this evening against Taplow has been RAINED OFF. If you are reading this and were due to play, then please spread the word to save Dean some phone calls.
Both Dinton and Taplow are keen to reschedule, so we shall see what we can arrange.

Rainwatch: 3pm Tuesday - Brill Match OFF

The under 15B match at Brill this evening is OFF. The ground is already very wet and heavy rain is forecast. If you were due to play and have not already spoken to Mick or to Andy, please text Mick on 07973 257878 to let him know that you have read this.
Given the forecast, there already has to be some doubt about Wednesday's home under 14 match against Taplow. As ever, the latest news will appear here - so keep checking back.

Under 11s Trial Match

25/04/08

Thanks for everyone's patience on Thursday, as we waited for the bad weather to blow over. Unfortunately we lost the early junior practice session, but the under 11s at least have a chance to play some cricket this Saturday in the trial match taking place at Lord Williams's Lower School, Towersey Road, from 1pm.
Open to all those in year 6, the aim is to assess everyone's progress under realistic match conditions. If you are unable to attend it will not preclude you from being selected, but being there will give you a chance to shine!

Junior Practice Night: Rainwatch Update at 6:25pm

6:25pm update: the 7:00pm session is still ON, provided we have no more rain. (It was too damp to run the first session at 5:45pm.)
Two further notes:
- under 11s (year 6): remember the trial match on Saturday at Lord Williams's Lower School.
- there will be no barbecue this evening.

Junior Membership

All age groups at Under 11 and younger are currently full up and we are now unable to guarantee places for any new members at these ages. Prospective members are very welcome to go on our waiting list, but we will not be able to notify you of whether or not there are spaces until May 9. (This is the day after the deadline for existing members to return their membership forms and payment.)
Membership forms were sent out to all existing members and prospective members on our database on March 31. Details on membership can be read here.

Indoor Nets: Change of Times Confirmed

The net times on Wednesday evenings have been confirmed as 6:00 - 7:30pm from now on.
The junior schedule for the remaining nets dates is as follows:
  Weds Feb 27: under 17s
  Weds Mar 5: under 13s
  Weds Mar 12: under 14s & under 15s
  Weds Mar 19: under 17s
  Weds Mar 26: under 13s
  Weds Apr 2: under 14s & under 15s
All sessions are at Waddesdon School. Now £2 per session.

Indoor Nets for Under 10s & Under 11s

Here are the dates for the under 10 and under 11 indoor nets at Stoke Mandeville Stadium:
Sundays Feb 24, Mar 9, Mar 16, Mar 23 (Easter Day) and Mar 30
All times are 5pm - 6pm.
The cost will be £3 per session or £12.50 for a five-session season ticket.

AGM 8pm Thursday January 31 at the Club

The re-scheduled AGM will be held at the club on Thursday January 31. The start time is 8pm.

Cherwell League Fixtures

The full Cherwell League fixture list has been published, and Dinton's fixtures can be seen here. The firsts start away at Tiddington, the seconds home to Cropredy and the thirds home to Tiddington 2nds. The fixture times are provisional at this stage - we've assumed the same as last year, but as the rules have changed for 2008 there may also be changes to the start times.
