Under 13Bs vs Long Crendon - assume ON

5:15pm: Right on cue, here comes the rain. However, the plan is to meet at Long Crendon and take a view there as to what the weather is doing nearer the time.

Juniors Practice ON

5pm: It's gloomy and there's the threat of more rain, but practice is ON. Clearly if we get rain later then this may be in doubt, but for now please assume it's on - Mick

It's That Raincloud Again

Don't know about you, but I'm fed up with seeing the raincloud on this page. This time it's the under 13s (again), whose home match against The Lee on Wednesday has been called off.

And Another One Down...

4:30pm May 14: Chalfont St Peter have called off tonight's under 11 cup match. It was impractical to rearrange, so given the relative strength of our under 11s they have offered us a walkover into the next round. Which is nice of them.

More Rain Casualties

The npower Village Cup home match against Ibstone has been rained off, so will be played at Ibstone next Sunday May 20.

Two more junior fixtures are rain victims: the under 11Bs away at Bledlow on Sunday morning, and the under 15Bs home against Bledlow on Monday. We will attempt to rearrange both fixtures for later in the season, under the new Aylesbury District League rules.

Saturday May 12: 3rds OFF

9:45am update: The Saturday 3rds match vs Kidlington at Aylesbury is OFF. ('The pitch is like a paddyfield' - PJ.)
We'll keep you posted with news of 1sts and 2nds.

Under 13s vs Grendon OFF

4pm: match OFF. The ground's not fit, and more rain is forecast. Please would the under 13s let Dorcia know their availability for the next fixture, home vs The Lee on Wednesday May 16.

Thursday Juniors Practice OFF

Update at 3pm: It's raining cats and dogs, and even if the rain stopped now it would not be safe on the outfield this evening. Practice is therefore OFF. We'll contact people individually to check availability for forthcoming fixtures.
PS We'll also give late payers an extra week's grace to get their membership fees to us - see below.

Under 15s vs Chesham OFF

The under 15s home league match against Chesham A this evening was called OFF at 4:20pm. Ted will ring round to inform the team.

Reminder: Junior Membership Fees

A reminder that you have until this Thursday, May 10, to return your junior membership forms and pay your membership fees of £30 (£20 for siblings). After Thursday the fees go up by £10 per junior member.
