The winning captain's hand on the trophy!

A brilliant team bowling and fielding display from the under 9s paved the way for Dinton's 30-run victory over Cublington in the under 9 final at Winslow this evening. Well done everyone!

Under 17s - Weather Victims

Congratulations to the under 17s, who finished unbeaten in the Aylesbury District League with maximum bonus points. But commiserations also, as they still finished runners-up (despite having beaten the winners) because of rained-off matches in May against two of the division's weaker sides.

Under 9s - Congratulations

Congratulations to the under 9s, who have won their Aylesbury District League division.
The play-off final against Cublington under 9s is at Winslow Cricket Club on Monday July 24, 6pm start. Come along and give them your support!

Neil Spicer broke his toe in three places yesterday at training, and is likely to be out of action for 6-8 weeks.

(So now he has plenty of time to send me the new 'Spice Writes' columns he promised me - Ed)

Thanks to all the participants and helpers during last Sunday's matches for Sport Relief. England (once again) beat South Africa in the under 9s in the morning, and in the blistering heat in the afternoon the parents and coaches managed to whip their junior opposition twice over... Dorcia Allison's stunning on-drive, and the Casey combination of dad ct son2 b son1 may have won the official J2O moments, but there were many contenders!
Over £150 raised for Sport Relief - well done and thanks again.

Under 15s - Congratulations

Well done to the under 15s in their Aylesbury District League division: played 4 won 4, with 2 matches rained off. We will play Northchurch in the play-off final.

Both this morning's matches have been rained off - under 11s at Chearsley and under 12s at Risboro'.
