News Archive: all news items, sorted by date Under 13s - Caught at the Last Hurdle   08/07/06 Commiserations to the under 13s, who lost a close game at Bledlow Village on Friday July 7 and who therefore just failed to win their division. Juniors vs Parents for Sport Relief   08/07/06 By popular request, on Sunday July 16 at the club we shall be running two juniors vs parents games. First up will be the U11s-U13s at 2:30pm - mums and dads invited to play! Then at 5:30pm the U14s and up will play their parents and coaches. Dads only for this one please... A minimum donation to Sport Relief of £2 per player is requested, and this goes also for the under 9 'England vs South Africa' rematch on the Sunday morning. Book your places asap by emailing Mick! U13 Fixture Change   04/07/06 Bledlow have requested that we move forward our U13 league fixture from Tuesday July 11 to this Friday July 7. Still away at Bledlow and still a 6pm start. We need to know availability for a Friday fixture asap, so please could all U13s email Mick asap to let him know whether or not they can play. England vs Trinidad & Tobago   14/06/06 Come and watch the football at the club on Thursday June 15, kick off 5pm. The game will be shown on a big screen, and there will be the usual Thursday evening fare - barbecue after the game, tuck shop, bar etc. Please note though that there will be NO TRAINING for under 11s and under 9s because of the match. U12s and up will train as usual from 7pm. Junior fixture changes   09/06/06 The quarter final of the U15 Bucks Cup, home to Burnham, has been moved from Sunday June 11 to Sunday June 18. The start time remains at 10am. The scheduled U9 home match v Chearsley on June 18 at 10am has been moved to Long Crendon in order to accommodate the cup match. No Juniors Practice This Week   01/06/06 There will be no juniors practice this Thursday evening, June 1, because of half term. Practice evenings (with barbecue!) start again Thursday June 8. Please would U12 & U11 players look out for the selections online for their home matches on Monday June 5 and Wednesday June 7 respectively. Fixture Change: U14 v Aston Clinton   30/05/06 The U14 league match against Aston Clinton has been moved to Friday June 9, and will be played at Aston Clinton. Walkover in Village Cup   27/05/06 Dinton CC received a walkover against Turville Park in the latest round of the nPower Village Cup, as Turville Park were unable to put out a team. The game was rained off previously and this was the second attempt to play the tie. Dinton will now play Bledlow Ridge at Dinton on Sunday June 4 in the semi finals of the Bucks group. U14s vs Winslow This Evening OFF   24/05/06 5:45pm update: We have had to call this evening's fixture off because of the dampness of the square. Chearsley U15 Match Off   22/05/06 Tonight's U15 home match against Chearsley has been rained off. Please note that Wednesday's U14 home match against Winslow is also looking doubtful at this stage, but a decision will not be made until Wednesday.
