Kitchen Refurbishment

Here's a link to a photo diary of the pavilion kitchen refurbishment currently underway. Congratulations to Johnny, Ali, Pete W, Neil and everyone else involved to-date.
There's much to do in the kitchen, in the rest of the pavilion and around the ground before the season starts, and activities will concentrate on the CricketForce weekend of March 27 & 28. More to follow on this soon, but please book this volunteer event in your diaries NOW!

Junior Indoor Nets Schedule

The full junior indoor nets schedule is available for viewing here.
Here are the details of the remaining sessions:
  Thurs March 4:      Under 13s (year 8)
  Thurs March 11:   Under 11s (year 6)
  Thurs March 18:   Under 12s & under 13s
  Thurs March 25:   Girls
Please see the full schedule for details of other age groups and girls' training.
All sessions are at Waddesdon School on Thursdays from 6pm - 7pm, and the cost per person per session is £2.

NO NETS Thursday & Friday, Half-Term

Really sorry for the breakdown in communications - NO NETS this week because of half-term. We've only just discovered this! Commiserations to those who made the journey to Waddesdon on Thursday - our humble apologies.
Normal service will be resumed next week.

Senior Indoor Nets

Indoor nets for seniors and under 16s & 17s continue on Fridays at Waddesdon School from 7:30pm - 9:00pm up to and including March 26.

Senior Saturday Fixtures Published

24/01/10

We've updated the website for Saturday league fixtures. The first XI 's debut match in the Home Counties Premier League is away at Finchampstead. Meanwhile in the Cherwell League the second XI are at home to Hanborough and the third XI away at Oxford & North Bletchingdon ND's 3rds.
Matches start on May 8.

Junior Indoor Nets, Thursday Jan 14 6pm ** ON **

14/01/10

The first junior indoor nets session at Waddesdon School this Thursday January 14 from 6pm - 7pm will be for under 12s (year 7) only. Please spread the word.
The following week, January 21, it will be the turn of the under 13s. A full schedule will follow asap - sorry for the delay!
Each session will cost £2 per person, payable on the day.
Remember that under 16s & 17s are welcome at the senior net sessions on Friday evenings.

Indoor Nets Friday January 8 OFF

Update at 10:25am Friday:
Waddesdon School is again closed today (Friday) because of the weather, and we have just been informed that as the hall will not be open this evening, our first indoor nets session is OFF.
(For info, access to the school remains difficult and the school are organising a 'working party' over the weekend to enable access for the exams next week.)

Scorer's Course

From the Cherwell League website, kindly pointed out by Howard Scott:
Bucks, Berks and Oxon Officials Associations have joined forces with the RAF to provide a Level 1 and 2 scorer’s course at RAF Halton, Wendover on Sunday 17th January and Sunday 7th February 2010 from 0900 to 1600 (well it is the RAF - Ed) both days.

Celebrate the New Year!

Here's a terrific opportunity if you're looking for somewhere to spend new year's eve.
Karen Snookes is organising a party and disco at Dinton Village Hall for all ages. There will be a soft drinks bar, and glasses will be provided for those bringing their own alcohol. Tickets are £8 for adults, £3 for children, to include a buffet. There are discounts for family groups. Contact Karen on 01296 747581.
Unfortunately we have had to cancel the planned 18s & over party in Haddenham because of lack of demand.
