Dinton are Bucks Village Cup Champions

Dinton batted, bowled and fielded themselves to a convincing victory over Bledlow Village in the Bucks final of the npower Village Cup.
Dinton scored 260-9, with Ashley Smith (89) and Shaun Smith (64) the main scorers. In return, Mark Ludlow starred first with a run-out and then with figures of 5-26.
The first round of the national competition is at home vs Surrey & Berkshire champions Rowledge on Sunday June 28.

Dinton U13s in Lady Taverners Tournament

Dinton's under 13 girls travel to Cublington CC this evening, Friday June 12, to compete in the Lady Taverners girls club competition.
Dinton will join Chesham, a team from North Bucks, Beechborough, Great Kingshill, Marlow, High Wycombe and Buckingham in a round-robin and play-offs competition starting from 5:45pm.
The girls would be delighted to have your support.

Thursday June 11: No Barbecue This Evening

Rainwatch: Weds 4:45pm U13Bs OFF, U15s Still ON

We're told that the Thame Town pitch is flooded, so the under 13Bs match this evening is OFF.

The under 15s will be ON provided that we have no further heavy rain. If there is any change to this decision we will update this news item immediately.

Under 12s vs Chiltern Girls U14s ON This Evening

The Chiltern Girls team manager has contacted us to confirm, as at 3:30pm today, that the match this evening is ON.
The match is being played at Chesham Bois Cricket Club.

The 1sts at home to Cumnor, and the 3rds at Long Crendon vs Great Brickhill have both been called OFF.
We're still waiting on a decision from Bledlow Ridge.
The race night has been postponed to Saturday June 20.

Rainwatch: Friday 4:45pm - U14s Rained Off

The under 14s got to 8 overs at Beaconsfield this evening, but the match was then called off because of rain.

Rainwatch: Wednesday 12:45pm Match OFF

We've decided to call OFF the under 15s cup match home to Gerrards Cross this evening, because of the continued rain.
We are due to play away at Gerrards Cross this Friday May 29, and this fixture will now be a combined league & cup game.

No Juniors Practice This Thursday

Because of half term there will be NO juniors practice this Thursday, May 28.
In its place, why not come and give your support to the under 17s who are playing at home that evening? The match starts at 6:00pm.

Under 9s Rainwatch: Friday 4pm - Match ON

We have agreed with Wendover that we will go ahead with the match this evening at The Witchell, and take the risk that it may start to rain once we have started.
If there is any further rain between now and 5pm, which causes the match to be called off, we will update this site.
